National Police Service Visit

IPO Kenya conducted an official visit to the National Police Service Commission, where Commissioner Eusebius K. Laibuta warmly welcomed our delegation. During the meeting, Commissioner Laibuta provided valuable insights into the commission’s responsibilities for both active and retired police officers.We had the privilege of meeting Chairperson Mr. Eluid N. Kinuthia and CS/CEO Mr. Peter Leley, who shared detailed information on various commission initiatives, including policing policy development, retirement benefits for police officers, legislation, funding, resources policy building, lawmaking, and police force training.

IPO Kenya President, Mr. Andrew Kerr, expressed IPO Kenya’s commitment to providing aid and assistance when needed. The meeting delved into crucial topics such as policing policy, retirement welfare, legislation, funding, lawmaking, and training for the police force.Addressing broader concerns about the country’s current situation, Mr. Kerr and the executive commissioners engaged in productive discussions. The commissioners acknowledged the concerns and pledged collaborative efforts for a better tomorrow. A symbolic gesture of solidarity was captured through a photo shoot featuring the CEO, chairperson, and several commissioners.
